Resurrection Church in Sanford, FL exists to connect the unconnected to Jesus Christ. Our hope is that we will become a church transformed by the power of love and belonging, not only in the community but with Jesus by our side.
We meet every Sunday at 11:00 AM in person and online. We'd love to meet you and get to know you, join us for our next service!
About Us
There are five Core Principles we strive to live by. We are not perfect but we know that with God's help it is attainable.
Our hope is that at Resurrection, we give you the warmest welcome into our home and community where we listen, care, and have a genuine interest in each other. We welcome people when they least expect it, even if they feel they least deserve it.
We will do anything short of sin to reach people who don’t know Jesus. We want people to feel equipped and empowered to pray for each other in the moment. We hope that we all understand that we are all a work in progress and that it is okay to share our journeys with authenticity and honesty, knowing that God will make all things beautiful in His time.
Jesus came to this earth as a servant. He is our role model and when we choose to serve others, then we show others His love, and in that way, they will know we are His disciples.
We laugh loud, hard, and often! Join us for monthly potlucks and events where fun and laughter are the norm and newcomers feel immediately at home.
We will expect the unexpected and live life depending on God.
What We Believe
We won’t shy away from scripture. We believe that the Bible is God’s living word, and it guides us in everything we do. Our sermons continually point back to scripture as the basis of our faith.
God’s love compels us to share with others the transformation we’ve experienced at the hands and work of God. We want you to experience His incredible grace and power in your life, too!
Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. Community is a vital part of our faith walks, and we believe in the importance of gathering to pray, encourage, hold accountable, and uplift each other as we navigate life.
